• Shadow and Praise: poems by Terry Wolverton $12.00

Terry Wolverton's third collection of poems contains two sections; the first, "Shadow," consists of eleven poems that use various notions of shadow as their central image. The second, "Praise," is comprised of 52 poems in praise of random and unlikely things ("In praise of denial." In the introduction by Gerald Locklin, he states, "These poems vibrate with controlled breathing, like American Mantras infused by a higher plane of Eastern scriptural spirituality. I have the highest admiration for this achievement by a poet and human being who has spent a lifetime in preparation for such a crowning masterpiece."
